Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Pravaa is a design-led indoor plantscaping studio based in Mumbai, India. This policy is issued by Pravaa LLP ("Pravaa", "we", "us", "our"), which is the data controller responsible for the personal information described here.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to:

the Pravaa website at pravaa.in, including our enquiry and booking forms; and
the Pravaa mobile application distributed through Google Play.

The Pravaa mobile app is an internal workforce application. It is intended solely for Pravaa's own gardeners, technicians and operations staff to manage attendance, site visits, job cards and service records. It is not a consumer application, and accounts are created and issued by Pravaa — members of the public cannot register on their own.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Through the mobile app (staff users)

3.2 Through the website

Enquiry details you submit voluntarily — name, email address, phone number, city or locality, and the message or requirements you describe — so we can respond to your request and schedule a walkthrough.
Basic technical data generated automatically by our hosting provider when a page is served, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used for security and to keep the site working.

3.3 What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank credentials or UPI PINs through the app or the website.
We do not collect contacts, SMS messages, call logs, health data or biometric identifiers.
We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or ad targeting.

4. Location data

The Pravaa app requests access to precise (GPS) location from staff users. Location is used for one purpose only: to stamp an attendance check-in / check-out and a service-visit log with the place where it happened, so that we can confirm a visit was made to the correct client site.

Only at the moment of an action. Location is read when you tap to check in, check out, or complete a visit. The app does not track your movements continuously.
Not in the background. The app does not collect location while it is closed or not in use.
Your choice. Android asks for your permission before any location is read, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in your device settings. If you decline, you can still use the app, but attendance and visit entries that require location verification cannot be recorded and will need to be confirmed manually by your supervisor.
Not shared for advertising. Location data is never sold, shared with data brokers, or used for marketing or profiling.

5. Camera and photos

The app requests camera access, and photo access where you choose to upload an existing image, so that staff can attach pictures of plants, installations and work sites to a job record. Only the images you deliberately capture or select are uploaded. The app does not scan, index or upload the rest of your photo gallery.

6. How we use information

To create, authenticate and secure staff accounts.
To schedule, dispatch, verify and document plant care visits and installations.
To maintain attendance, payroll-support and service quality records.
To respond to enquiries submitted on our website and to prepare quotes.
To communicate operational information — assignments, schedule changes, service confirmations.
To detect and prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents, and to fix faults in our services.
To comply with applicable law, including tax, employment and record-keeping obligations in India.

We process this information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you or your employer, because you have consented (for example, to device permissions), because it is necessary for our legitimate business interests in operating a plant care service, or because the law requires it.

8. Retention

Attendance and location entries: retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated into non-identifying totals.
Visit records and site photographs: retained for the duration of the client relationship and up to 3 years afterwards, as evidence of work performed.
Staff account details: retained while the account is active and for as long afterwards as employment, tax and statutory record-keeping law requires.
Website enquiries: retained for up to 24 months from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

9. Security

We use access controls, authenticated accounts, role-based permissions and encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) to protect personal information, and we limit access to staff who need it for their role. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address any incident promptly. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

confirm what personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy of it;
correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
erase your personal information where we no longer need it for the purposes above;
withdraw a consent you previously gave, including device permissions such as location and camera; and
raise a grievance about how we have handled your personal information.

Write to evolve@pravaa.in and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal, and we may need to keep certain records where the law requires it.

11. Account and data deletion

To request deletion of your Pravaa app account and the personal information associated with it, email evolve@pravaa.in from your registered address, or write to us at the postal address above, with the subject line "Delete my Pravaa account".

We will verify the request and delete the account, profile details, location entries and uploaded photos associated with it within 30 days.
We may retain a limited set of records where employment, accounting or tax law requires us to — for example statutory attendance and payroll-support records — for the period that law prescribes, after which they are deleted.
Backups are purged on our regular backup rotation, within 90 days of deletion.

12. Children

Our services are not directed at children. The Pravaa app is issued only to adults employed or engaged by Pravaa, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Website cookies

Our website uses only what is necessary to serve the pages and to remember basic display preferences in your browser's local storage. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser settings let you block or clear this storage at any time.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change or the law requires. The revised version will be published at pravaa.in/privacy with a new "last updated" date. Where a change is significant, we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.
